If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Muckleburgh Collection

The Muckleburgh Collection is Britains largest privately owned Military Museum. It is situated in the NAAFI block of the original WWII Ack Ack camp, 8 exhibition halls display tanks, armoured cars, guns, missiles, uniforms, and model ships. From mid-February to the end of November, receive a warm welcome from our dedicated staff and wander amongst the exhibits. Touch the tanks and peer inside. Watch some of them in action every Sunday and daily from mid-July to mid-September. Interact with the vehicles and experience a 10 minute ride in a 6-wheeled personnel carrier called a Gama Goat. It's bumpy, but fun! Also the 1906 13 Pdr field gun as used in the first world war. Set in 350 acres in a coastal area of outstanding natural beauty, you are able to follow the path beside the sea, watch our fascinating wild bird life or the working fishing boats. Then spend hours learning facts about military machinery. Enjoy a snack or a traditional home-cooked meal in out licensed restaurant open from 10.00 to 17.00 every day. During the summer, take a picnic outside or enjoy a delicious barbecued hamburger. Free car parking is just 50 metres from the entrance. Alternatively, a bus service arrives at the Museum entrance daily during the season, or a steam train travels from Sheringham to Weybourne Station, just 1 mile away.
